One For the Books!

Fourth of july was awesome and I have to share my masterpiece, that yes, deserves to be in a food museum! Here's the recipe.

Well, things have, all of a sudden, gotten really busy around my house! My husband is in the application process for graduate school right now, so we decided to go ahead and try and sell our house so that when the time came to move we wouldn't be tied to it. We sold it in a total of 2, yes 2, days! So now, in between being about 33 weeks pregnant, packing, finding a place to live, having to be out of our house by the end of the month, and then normal day to day stuff, I've been feeling a little overwhelmed, exhausted, etc.

Then to top it off, Wednesday I was headed to a friends house to

pick up some stuff when I got rear-ended in what ended up being a 4 car pile up on the busiest road in Boise. I was the first car to get hit, then got pushed into a giant car in front of me, which hit the mini van in front of them. My car suffered the most damage and could very likely be totalled (luckily the kiddos were not with me). So not only was I standing on the side of the road on the hottest day we've had all year, but facing some quality time in the doctor's offices to insure that the baby and I are ok. The baby is ok, I have only had some bruising on my chest, and neck and upper back pain (which I'll be seeing a great chiropractor for).

So yeah, it's been a big week. But I thought I would post a freebie. I have had some people tell me that they don't know how to use patterned paper in a digital scrapbooking layout. So I thought I would put up a quick page for people to see how I use patterned papers. It's available for free here on my website

And it's up!!

Ok, I think things are finally working right. The store on my website is up! Click here to view it! There is a 20% off coupon for this week, so make sure you take advantage of that! I haven't been able to post all the products that I have yet, but if there is something that you would really like to be able to purchase that I haven't added to the store please let me know and I will get it posted ASAP! Also if you have samples that I can use in the store then email me and I will get you a coupon code for 50% off!!

A post for a rainy day!

Life has been so busy. We recently put our house up for sale, we had a garage sale this weekend, are getting ready for a fun camping trip (we hope it's fun - keep your fingers crossed!), oh and did I mention that I'm 30 weeks pregnant?

So between getting our house "market ready" and everything else that we've had going on, I have been a little bit less than energetic! However, there are some new things coming up. The store on my site is almost done, and some new products will be posted at Digital Dandelions on Monday! So be sure to check those out!!

*freebie coming soon**

Better Late than Never

Yesterday completely ran away from me, and today we were having a family Easter celebration! SO, I'm sorry I'm not getting the freebie up until now, but here you go!!

These won't be going up on designer digitals, but please still credit me and designer digitals (since that's where my stuff is available) if you use them! There is one for each month, and they are all in separate .png files! Enjoy!

Getting Ready...

For a triathlon! My second actually. I did a mini triathlon through the local YMCA a couple years ago, and now I'm getting ready to do at least 2, maybe 3 speed triathlons this summer.

Now, my style of swimming is not what anyone would call competitive level. In fact I will probably swim this triathlon with the side stroke and might throw in some doggie paddle just for kicks! Whatever gets it done right? I run. I can run for hours and it is glorious to me! I've just never been a superb swimmer, and that's ok.

Well tonight I went swimming with a friend of mine, who is doing this triathlon with me. She has been waiting for this for a couple weeks now. She's a swimmer not a runner, so she has been waiting to get in her arena and out of mine! Well it worked! She kicked my trash, and hopefully can help me become a stronger swimmer in the coming months!!

Wish me luck!!!

And here is what is releasing this week at designerdigitals!
